Reverse ATM Pin and Call Police – Hoax

The technology mentioned in following Hoax mail was invented but not implemented, don’t TRUST this or you will be in trouble:

PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.

The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcast on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don’t know it exists.

By the way, on funny side, what if pin number is something like 4444, 7337  🙂

  2. If this is the case… then why can’t anyone (WE ALL) go enter our numbers backwards, and leave immediately? We would get the money and not get charged for it… think about this folks.

  3. Leian,

You couldn’t go do this yourself because ATM’s have cameras, don’t you think they are going to look at those before they just give you your money without taking it out of your account?

  5. I believe what you said was actually very logical.
However, think about this, what if you added a little
content? I am not suggesting your content isn’t good., but suppose you added a post title to maybe grab folk’s attention?
I mean Reverse ATM Pin and Call Police – Hoax | Save yourself n Save Others is kinda vanilla.
You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article headlines to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written.
Just my opinion, it could make your blog a little livelier.

  6. Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems
with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
